OJ Simpson to Wed a Pen Pal He Has Never Met Behind Bars

Former football star and actor O.J. Simpson, who is serving jail term for armed robbery, is reportedly gearing up to marry a pen pal he has never met.

According to sources, the 62-year-old incarcerated actor, who featured in ‘The Naked Gun’ triolog, has proposed to ‘a young blonde’ called Anna and she is set to become his third wife, reports imdb.com.

‘They’ve been writing to each other for a while now. She sent him her photo and he just flipped for her,’ the source added.

The source also claims Simpson’s latest love is a spitting image for his late wife Nicole. He was acquitted of her murder in 1995.

Ex-Raiders QB Russell arrested on Ala. drug charge..

Alabama authorities say former Oakland Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell has been charged with possession of codeine syrup — a controlled substance — without a prescription.

Mobile County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Lori Myles says the 24-year-old former LSU star was arrested Monday afternoon at his home during an undercover investigation. He graduated from high school in Mobile.

Online records show he was booked into the Mobile jail and released on $2,500 bond.

The Raiders released Russell in May, just three years after being the No. 1 overall draft pick.

He won only seven of his 25 starts and was eventually benched. He’s been criticized for lack of a work ethic.

Russell and his agent did not immediately return calls for comment.

Kobayashi arrested after Joey Chestnut hot dog win

For all the competitive eating fans who thought Joey Chestnut was the man and Kobayashi couldn’t get arrested you were wrong.

After Chestnut’s victory today at the Nathan’s International Hot Dog Eating Contest Kobayashi was indeed taken into custody.

Chestnut snacked down on 54 hot dogs for his fourth consecutive victory. That was 14 short of his world record.

Shortly after, six-time winner Takeru Kobayashi went on stage and police grabbed him. He tried to hold onto barricades as he was taken away.

An online video could cost an Independence man his job.Brian Maupin created a YouTube video that features a sales person trying to convince a person looking for an iPhone to buy a Sprint smart phone instead.No store names were mentioned in the video.Maupin works for Best Buy, and said his general manager gave him two options.”‘You have two options: You can quit right now or we can go through due process with (human resources.)’ But I can kind of see where they are coming from if it was something that is slandering their brand, they have to protect that,” Maupin said.Maupin was suspended. He said he expects to be fired on Monday.KMBC contacted Best Buy for comment, but the company declined to comment on the situation.
